My husband returned the schnitzel as it was too hard and overcooked. The replacement buns were slightly better, but the second schnitzel was still overcooked. The kitchen's excuse was that the grill was hotter than usual. They did take $10 off our bill, but it still came to $140 for food of very low quality. We were disappointed by our experience, especially since the restaurant is conveniently located just 4 minutes away from our cottage. It could have been a great place for family meals during the summer.
We absolutely love the Harbour House! Sit up on the balcony, have a cocktail or 2, the food is fantastic, watch the boats come and go, our favorite place when anchored anywhere near Honey Harbour! Fish Tacos are killer!!!
After a driving trip to Lake Superior, we stumbled upon this hidden gem for a late lunch. Thanks to Waze, we were able to find this spot easily. Opting to dine indoors due to the cool weather, we still enjoyed the great view from inside. We both had the curried lentil soup and shared a serving of chicken wings. With a draught beer for him and a chilled glass of white wine for me, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The food and service were excellent, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We plan to return as it is a convenient spot for us to stop for lunch during our day drives.
My family visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening. We were surprised that it was not very busy, with only one other table occupied, but we were hungry so we decided to give it a try. The waitress was friendly and we quickly ordered 3 burgers and fries, a schnitzel, and a pulled pork dish. We were taken aback by the prices, but we hoped that we had stumbled upon a hidden gem. Unfortunately, our food arrived and the 3 burgers were burnt and the buns were overdone. My husband returned the schnitzel as it was extremely overcooked and tough. The buns were replaced with slightly less overdone ones, but the replacement schnitzel was still overcooked. The kitchen's excuse was that the grill was hotter than usual. They did offer a $10 discount on the bill, but even with that, we paid $140 for food that was very poor quality. We were disappointed as the restaurant is conveniently located just 4 minutes away from our cottage and we had hoped it would be a great spot to bring the family for meals during the summer.
