Fish Tales Restaurant And Bar

Among other things, I think Fish Tales menu is overpriced considering the location and atmosphere. They're asking$14.99 (before tax or tip) for a cheeseburger fries. I'm willing to pay that for a specialty burger or to enjoy a burger at a restaurant on a waterfront or one with an inspiring atmosphere. I thought the atmosphere here was dark and uninspiring. I didn't appreciate that the server made an off-hand political comment.I left without ordering food and went elsewhere.

Ordered a door dash. Some of the food was good. Fried food taste like oil was old. Figured I’d give them a second chance no fried food. Waiting for my order to find out they were out of 2 of the 3 items I ordered. 2 strikes I’m out. Would not recommend.

Went for lunch and will definitely go back! We had fish tacos, a grilled shrimp basket and shrimp ceviche. The pieces of fish in the tacos were huge! It was easily twice the amount that I've gotten in other restaurants. Shrimp basket came with fries and hushpuppies. We were too full to try the hushpuppies but I was told the fries were very good. The pool table was level with felt and rails in great shape. This might seem simple but you would be surprised at how appreciated it is when a place has something better than your typical bar quality tables.

The worst meal I 've had in a very long time. My French Dip was more like beef Jerky burnt like charcoal with an Au Jus that had zero flavor. My fiancé 's grouper sandwich was rubbery and under cooked (they didn 't charge us for it). The highlight of the meal were the cheese curds...

A pleasant server, but took a half an hour to get a sloppy seafood pasta dish that tasted like it was cooked in Lipton gravy. I didn't think it was possible to screw up garlic bread, but they did. The only reason they got 2 stars is for the server.
