The Cottage On Dixie - Homewood

The Cottage on Dixie turned out to be a delightful surprise. We met friends who live quite a distance to the southwest, and this was a convenient halfway point for us. The food was of excellent quality and very fresh, as the restaurant emphasizes farm-to-table dining. What stood out the most was the service; the management even came over to our table to apologize for any issues with the service. Honestly, we hadn't noticed anything wrong at all. We enjoyed a fantastic meal and left very satisfied.

We have consistently enjoyed both the food and service at this restaurant. My family often holds our special celebrations here, whether it’s birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, or just those nights when we don’t feel like cooking. We’re thrilled to have such a spacious restaurant in our neighborhood! The drinks are fantastic too!

This is my husband's favorite restaurant! It's a bit on the pricey side, but the menu features some truly unique dishes. The menu changes with the seasons, and they offer fantastic drinks. I really appreciate the atmosphere—it has a cozy log cabin or ski chalet feel inside. There's also outdoor seating available. We once went when they were roasting a pig outside, which was a very memorable experience!

The ambience of this upscale, chic little place is wonderful. There are healthy and vegetarian options that are delicious. They have a greenhouse on the back where they grow some of their own herbs and they use local sources for food. The prices are ideal for the lunch menu that runs until 3 o'clock. It is refreshing to have such a good neighborhood restaurant that is not part of a chain!

Wonderful dinner! Farm to table restaurant with fantastic house made cocktails. I had the hot one which was delicious. They gave us complementary house made crackers with their strawberry jam (as pictured below). Portions are very large so you won't leave hungry. I would definitely recommend coming here for dinner.
