Four Eight Lounge - Homestead

The restaurant was not open despite what the website indicated. When we arrived, we were told that they are only renting the space for events. I hope it reopens in September so we can give it a try.

Amazing food and service! Little hidden gem in Homestead. Food was delicious and portions were big. The place is nice and family friendly.

Disappointed is an understatement for the service in this lovely restaurant. We decided to give it a try after all the great reviews we have heard. We usually go out to dinner on Saturday nights north of Homestead, but today we gave it a try to support local restaurants. Well, we walked in, waited a minute or two to be acknowledged by the servers. We sat down, scanned the menu ordered drinks. We ordered our appetizers and a little after our entrees, but before our entrees got to our table, we were surprised by the bill. I mean, who wants to eat dinner and look at the bill at the same time. When we questioned why we were getting the bill before receiving our entrees, we were told that's a norm for them, just like at the bar. This is the first time in all the meals that I have eaten at a restaurant that I had seen this, even from some of the best restaurants in the country.

I recently attended a Small Businesses meeting at this location, and I must say, it is fantastic! They now offer the venue for various events, including corporate meetings and special occasions. I had a great time celebrating my sister's birthday here! It's a casual club where you don't need to dress up too much, unlike me, who ended up a bit overdressed, haha!
