Contribuiți la feedbackI have eaten many times. Great fish and seafood chowder soup. But the last time I brought the soup to go it was too watery. I was disappointed. Still had the great favor.
As an Alaskan resident, I am disappointed. For 2 adults/ 1 child we spent $180. The price is not the problem, the low quality food and portion size for that price is . I know they are known for seafood, I am sure the seafood is great. We ordered 2 rib eye steaks medium rare $39 E. They both came out well done. The tablespoon of mash potatoes were cold, not luke warm . Cold. The broccoli was hardly cooked. It had very little seasoning and no butter.
The food tasted excellent and table service was great! But we aren't coming back unless you up your fish portions. We obviously had an awesome cook(s) our evening of July 26th,2021! We heard the owner/chef was in cooking so...BUT for halibut capital you serve WAY TOO SMALL FISH PORTIONS FOR YOUR PRICE! Make a top name for your Harbor Grill Steak Seafood restaurant here in Homer by doubling your fish portions (especially halibut, since this is what Homer is famous for)and you'll have repeat guests pouring in year after year!
My husband 2 boys and I Went in to have lunch today. The lady who sat us was amazing but after we sat it would downhill. the waitress came and asked what we wanted to drink and eat. we ordered drinks a soda and tea. but needed time to order food. wanted the kids menu but she stated she didn't have one. they could either have fish and chips or chicken tenders. we said okay chicken tenders but needed time for us. 5 minutes later she came with drinks and asked ehat wr wanted to eat. we said what we wanted which was fish and chips and a seafood platter. and a side of ranch. after that wr did not see her for another 45 minutes. in that 45 minutes 3 other families sat down and got their drinks, appetizers and 2 got their actual meals. I got up and asked the hostess where our meals could have been. she instantly looked and asked the waitress. she came back out and said they were preparing it and it would be out soon. 15 minutes later it showed up. I asked for the ranch again as it was not delivered. not even 3 minutes go by and our bill was given to us. and the ranch was never delivered. nor refills on drinks. the waitress not one time said sorry for the delay or anything. we ate, paid and left. in total it took an hour and 15 minutes to sit and get our meals. the food was not amazing or worth thr 120.00 we paid(including the tip). we were not going to tip but felt it would be rude if we didn't. now.... I'm not the type to bring up race and would hope this had nothing to do with that. but. my husband is q black man and I'm q white woman and all the other tables were predominantly white. the way she spoke to us was quite Kurt and not much smiles yet with other tables were laughing and smiling. it just felt weird. we are Alaskan residents and go to homer often. this was a first at this restaurant and will be a last. as again the food was not something to write home about and the fact this one girl treated us so badly. we just rather spend our money where we are treated at least decent.
Most arrogant waiter ever, 18% gratuity on a 3 person party already on the bill.
