Nick's Nest - Holyoke

This is the best hotdog I have ever had! The toppings were hidden amazingly inside. I will definitely be coming back to this place.

After seeing the homemade baked beans sign, my friend and I decided to have dinner there. We were both unimpressed. We ordered 3 chili dogs, pulled pork, mac and cheese, baked beans, 2 large milkshakes, and chili fries. The server was friendly and took our order promptly. However, we were disappointed with the quality of the milkshakes and food, especially considering the $40 price tag. The milkshakes were watery and seemed like they were made by a child. Our cups were only filled halfway, which was frustrating. The chili dogs were soggy, the bun was not toasted, and it seemed like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The baked beans did not taste homemade at all. It's disappointing to see a business misrepresenting themselves. It's hard to believe this place was voted the best in 2008. If the front of the house is this dirty, I can only imagine how unclean the kitchen is. This place definitely needs a health inspection. I hope I don't get sick from eating here.

Best hott dog around! now they have so much more then just hot dogs check then out! eating and service is always perfect! the ice cream is to die!

I love me some hot dogs! Nick's Nest is a place I kept hearing about for Years and finally made it there. Not disappointed! Not sure if the inside dining is back yet, but a grab and go is just fine. Good dogs and more at pretty reasonable prices. A good variety menu as well. If you are in the area, stop in for a quick bite. Family friendly too.

First time visiting, delicious! Friendly staff, great hot dog combos, can't wait to go back!
