Sugar Reef - Hollywood

What a pleasant surprise. Wonderfully fresh food. Expertly prepared and served. Highly recommend and the people watching as you sit at your umbrella table is the best. Buy a bottle of wine and spend the afternoon having lunch.

We originally came here about 2 years ago for dinner and really enjoyed it. Recently we went back for lunch and can't say enough good things. First the atmosphere. The restaurant is right on the broadwalk in Hollywood. You over look the beach and the ocean. Beautiful. Then the staff. You feel as if you had stepped into a 5 star restaurant. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Third, the food. We tried the Moroccan soup wonderful. Just the right amount of spices. The fish sandwich came c pan fried potatoes as opposed to fries. Perfectly seasoned and the fish cooked just the way we like it. The salmon salad with mango salsa was a delight. Can't even tell you all the other times I had charcoaled or mummified salmon served to me before not Sugar Reef. The fish melted in my mouth. For desert we had the key lime pie with tart raspberry sauce drizzled atop. It even met my husbands tough standard's for Key Lime pie! Not only will we go back, we will bring our friends. What a great place!

The best meal I had in the area all week. Fresh fish perfectly cooked with very little sauce right on the beach.

The title says it all. We found this fabulous restaurant on Hollywood Beach. The food was outstanding and the service excellent. By far the best wine list and the Jamaican pork dish is to die for. Can't wait to come back next year!

I have a sweet tooth and I am writing as much as anything else about the excellent desserts I had at Sugar Reef. You wouldn't think such a great restaurant could be located in a strip mall, but it is! I would definitely recommend going here.
