Iron Sushi - Hollywood

This place was a cute little spot. We came late but the food didnt take long and it tasted really good. Salmon was fresh and they have pretty cool books to read while you wait.

We have been coming here for a couple years with no real issues until tonight. We ordered an Amigo Platter, and the rolls were barely filled. It was mostly rice, no cream cheese as you can see in the photos. These are the smallest most pathetic sushi rolls I?ve ever seen. The amigo platter used to cost $22 and they have now upped the charge to $26, along with everything else on the menu and the sushi is much worse than it used to be. You can see in the photos that theyhave no problem giving you a normal sized California roll and other basic rolls, but everything else is skimped like they either couldn?t be bothered or are trying to cut costs on salmon and other ingredients. Total ripoff. Ever since theprice increase, the service has gotten worse and worse. I went in to complain about the rolls and the sushi chef said that the filling was inside and I just couldn?t see it.... what? I unrolled it and there is barely a scrape of fillinginside.

I will say that I don't know if they are any good because every single time I come to this location to try them, they have a sign up saying closed early or off for the day even though they are showing as open on google. I've had enough with trying them because they can't seem to keep their restaurant open like a normal restaurant. Officially the worst restaurant in the city in my opinion. They also have a tendency to close during lunch and dinner which is when people are morelikely to order. These people have no clue how to run a business properly

The sushi is good but they are LITERALLY never open. It?s getting to the point where every time I call to order or pass by they are closed early, closed, or who knows. What the hell is going on here?? Can you post hours and actually operate within those hours. It?s just ridiculous and really frustrating already.

I placed an order at 9:30pm. the restaurant confirmed the order. my delivery was scheduled for 10:45, no one answers the phone. Food was finally delivered at 11:08. Over an hour for sushi is crazy. Food was bad, some was edible. All the sushi had wasabi ON IT. Had to spit out a few pieces because it was inedible. I have so much to say.
