Hungry Howie's Pizza And Subs Hollywood (wings, Subs, Salads, Pasta)

I really enjoyed the delicious pizza at Hungry Howie's! I ordered the medium pizza with garlic herb crust and found the sauce to be authentic, unlike others that are too thin and acidic. They generously covered the entire base of the pie with ingredients. This is now my favorite pizza place and I highly recommend it.

Not bad! The Howie's Special was delicious. The boneless wings were outstanding, although they resembled more like chicken nuggets.

The pizza was not the same as it was the last time. The dough was not cooked all the way. I was very dissatisfied with my order.

I requested my steak well done, but it came out with a disappointing crust. They also forgot to include my add-on in my salad, yet still charged me for it. To top it off, I never received either of the desserts I ordered.

The restaurant is located in the Hollywood Festival shopping center. Hungry Howie's Pizza Subs is a small pizzeria that offers a variety of pizzas, salads, baked subs, pastas, chicken wings, chicken tenders, bread, and desserts. Customers can also choose to flavor their pizza crust with options such as garlic, cajun, butter, ranch, butter cheese, sesame, and asiago cheese. It has been six years since my last visit to Hungry Howie's Pizza Subs, and I must admit that I was not impressed with how the business was being run. The staff appeared to be overwhelmed with taking orders over the phone, preparing and packing orders, and getting them ready for delivery, leaving no one available at the counter to take in-person orders. This resulted in a bit of a wait. When I finally placed my order, I opted for a 2-topping pizza and 8 pieces of wings for $17. The pizza was well-baked with a spicy tomato sauce, topped with fresh ham, pepperoni, and garlic-flavored grapes. I have previously mentioned in past reviews that I typically do not order wings from a pizza place, and once again, I was disappointed in my decision. The wings were extremely tiny and too spicy for my liking. I later realized they were buffalo-style, which was not to my taste. I ended up giving them all to my son. The bread that came with my order was fine, but I did not care for the seasoning on top. After dealing with the burning sensation in my mouth, I am unsure if I will return to Hungry Howie's in the future. The food just did not meet my expectations.
