Garden Diva food truck is a bit of an vegetarian vegan oasis in the area. There is also a new restaurant on Riverwalk in Fort Lauderdale called Riverhouse Restaurant Vegan Village which is wonderful but they do lots of burgers, fried sandwiches and other fried appetizers and comfort food and they are in huge portions, so Garden Diva is a needed alternative in the area. The women were super nice to stay open so that I could order some empanadas. They make everything from scratch and had about 8 different veg-friendly empanadas to choose from which never happens for us vegetarians! They aren’t fried so they feel healthier- you can order 1 as a snack or 3 for more of a meal. Wonderful afternoon pick-me-up!

For the vegan or non-vegan the food is awesome. The crunch wrap is definitely the way to start.

As a vegan, I have to say this is one of the best vegan food trucks I’ve ever visited! Every dish is crafted with pure love, and I can genuinely taste that love in every bite. The Crunch Wrap is incredible, and the Vegan Pineapple and Cheez Empanada is absolutely delightful. But let me tell you, that Apple Empanada is simply outstanding!

Absolutely amazing! I finally gave this place a try after hearing so much about it. I sampled their empanada selection, which included cilantro with jalapeño and cherry pepper jackfruit BBQ. My mom had the crunchy chicken. I definitely plan to try more items from the menu!
