Poquito - Holland

We had a 7:15 reservation on Saturday. And there were several things on the menu (garlic shrimp adobado, diver, scallops, ceviche to name a few) that were sold out, which was disappointing. So we decided to try the paella. We ordered the montana paella. It was so disappointing. There were 2 3-inch pieces of Spanish chorizo and some flex of ham. I could not find “lots o chorizo'. It was basically rice. Which I understand is what paella is. But I've also had it where it is brimming with meat.  The Tostones Fritos are delicious!

The food was fantastic, as usual, but the service was incredibly disappointing. It took around 30 minutes for us to receive our drinks, and another 10 to 15 minutes just to take our order. We ordered six dishes, and we only saw our waitress once during the meal when she came back to ask if we needed anything else—only to realize she had forgotten to submit one of our dishes. While she spent time attending to other tables, we felt like an afterthought. Overall, it was a letdown.

The server forgot to put in the majority of our food order and then we were told it was last call and if we wanted what we ordered he was not sure if we could still get it. The Pallea was going to take another 30-45 minutes. He also forgot to put in our grand daughters order so by 9:50 AM we were starving and my grand daughter was crying because she was so hungry. We left the resturant and had to go to McDonalds so we could eat.

One of our favorite date night spots. Delicious margaritas, delicious food, wonderful staff. We will definitely be back.

I highly recommend the bacon-wrapped dates—they're delicious! It's a fantastic spot for a night out. The margaritas were excellent too!
