Grand King Buffet - Holland Twp

They had remodeled. It looks like touch up and not pretty. I like Chinese decoration and light fixture at other place. The food was okay. They didn't serve beef with onion and pepper there. There a lot of chicken with vegetable there. Some foods look old and dry. I noticed that they have Mexican cook and servers there. I didn't see Chinese workers there. I like other Chinese buffet in South Haven , Portage, IN and Rockland, ME. The waiter was rude and ask me to give them 20 percent tips. But I gave them 15 percent tips.

Alright place, the food isn’t super fresh- and workers will give you weird looks.

Decided to give this place a try following the renovations. Quickly found out the only renovations done were to the pricing. The interior looks untouched. The food was mediocre Chinese buffet quality as expected. Perfectly fine for a $8.95 lunch buffet; however their new price is $12.95 plus $2.95 if you choose to order a soft drink. I know inflation has smacked us hard the past 4 years, but $20+ dollars after tax and tip for a mediocre Chinese buffet lunch is not working for me. There are so many great meals in this town that are available for less.

The food was gross. Staff was nice for the most part. Wasn't the cleanest.

How do they lose a credit card. Did wasn’t all that good btw. Won’t be going back?
