The worst part was the service....there was none. We got our initial visit to take a drink order and give us water. After that, we had to go to the bar ourselves to get soft drinks and mimosas. We had to clean up our own dirty plates and put them on another empty table, and had to grab water pitchers ourselves to refill our glasses. A manager did see us doing it and came by. He apologized for us not being waited on, but that was about it. When we left we went to the fountain to take pictures like we do every year. It's fun to see the kids get older. The fountain was off and filled with dirty green water. There was no valet parking either. All this for over $400. Just seems like whoever is in charge has given up. Last time we will ever come here.
Tara was fantastic. I hosted a formals banquet and Tara did a phenomenal job of catering towards our needs. She was such a delight, so respectful, willing to help in any way she could. We needed speakers for our event (which the venue could not provide, though it was part of my contact... so Tara proceeded to call her own daughter to bring their own speaker. She went above and beyond and I would not have wanted any one else to help us with our event, truly. I give this a 4/5 rating, because Sal, who was the other individual overlooking this event, was passive aggressive and rude. Not sure if he had some sort of bad impression of myself and those attending my event (due to it being composed of college students , but when I had asked for a projector, mic, and speaker (all part of my contract , he proceeded to question my hosts and I, displaying passive attitude. As if we weren't supposed to receive what we PAID FOR. Instead, he prompted us to use a mic to hold to our laptops in order to play music. Disappointing on his part as well as the venue.
I am a photographer who has shot many weddings at Villa Lombardi's. It is so nice to have a huge lobby and beautiful grounds to work with! The food is amazing and the parties are always crazy! Highly recommend :
Villa Lombardi's is an absolutely stunning catering hall. The decor is spectacular. The food was amazingly delicious. The staff members were helpful and very polite.
Met with Eleanor to do a walk-in tour of the establishment for a wedding. She was not welcoming and appeared to be annoyed at every moment of the tour. When asked questions she would give short answers that leave out important information. You’d have to ask several more follow up questions just to get basic information. The tour felt rushed and I wasn’t able to really vision if this was the venue I wanted. After a minute in each room she’d say “okay can we move on now?”. When asked about a grooms suite she felt the need to input her opinion by stating that grooms don’t need that and they don’t care so why should I. There were other times she felt the need to insert her very negative personal opinion. She spoke to me as if I was stupid and spoke to my future mother in law as if she was controlling or overbearing when that was not at all the case. She lacks professionalism, courtesy, and basic respect. Her eye rolling is immature and plain rude. This could have been the perfect establishment to have a wedding but I can’t even consider it after meeting with her because she left such an awful impression. Their menu cover says “Reputation is w Everything”, I find it ironic how she is the face of the establishment. She is jaded and should not be doing the tours at all.
