This is an authentic Kiwi fish and chip shop, complete with a nostalgic atmosphere. The menu is displayed on the wall, there's a tall counter, and the enticing aroma of freshly cooked fish and chips fills the air. The staff were friendly, and the portions of chips were generous. The blue cod was fantastic, but honestly, everything was delicious—including the mussels, spring rolls, and half serve of chips. If you're looking for an authentic Kiwi experience, complete with a bit of attitude at the counter, this is the place to go. Also, it was packed with locals, which for me is a clear sign of its quality.

The best fish and chips you'll ever taste. The hard working ladies at Dulcie's churn out burgers, whitebait patties and tons of other yummies for the queues of people locals and tourists who arrive to collect their paper wrapped goodies. Grab a can of L&P and eat your fish n chips down at the nearby beach. Kiwi as!

The place was packed with locals, which is always a sign of quality. We had to wait a bit, but it was great to see this little chippy thriving on a Friday night. The staff were lovely and the food was excellent. We picked up our fish, chips, and burger and walked just a minute down the road to the beach to enjoy our meal. Great experience!

We started using Dulcis on a weekly basis when we moved here two months ago. 6 orders and each time perfect. If you're looking for a feed like you used to get 30 40 years ago that real tastey fish and chips then this is the place. 5 feeds and each one was so yum, chips are very tasty.
