Starbucks - Hoffman Estates

I have to say, I really don't recommend Stars in Palatine on Northwest Highway. The experience there has been very disappointing! The quality is just not consistent at all. The coffee tastes different every time I go, and I’ve wasted quite a bit of money on drinks that were just plain wrong. I feel bad having to keep asking the barista to remake my orders. Honestly, it’s gotten to the point where I don’t even bother asking anymore. I’m really frustrated, especially since this place is the closest option for me. I don't know what's changed over the past couple of years, but they really need to train their baristas to make drinks correctly and consistently.

The service at this restaurant was neither the fastest nor the most attentive, with the exception of Gabby, who was exceptional. My friend and I, both former baristas, found their drink preparation to be quite lacking. We ordered a straightforward series of three drinks, yet they made several mistakes, including providing cups without labels and even admitting they weren’t sure what they had given us. We waited around 10 minutes in the drive-thru, and when things didn’t improve, we decided to go inside. Unfortunately, we waited 15 minutes there as well because the staff seemed uninterested in helping us. I specifically mentioned my milk allergy and made it clear that I wanted a brown sugar oat milk espresso that should not contain regular milk. However, they insisted it was milk-free, even though it had regular milk and random vanilla in it, which made me extremely ill. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Delicious! I decided to take a short break here, and I have to say I was not disappointed. I ordered a shaken iced tea lemonade and a scone, and that was probably one of the best combinations I've ever had, which I really didn't expect.

When a squirrel?️ needs coffee, that is a place to go. clean, helpful, fast, what they need.

I decided to give this starbucks another chance... which was a terrible mistake. I ordered a caramel frappe and it came out soupy. Employee was nice enough to give me another but it was also soupy at the bottom. How do you mess up a frappe not once but twice... never coming back.
