Contribuiți la feedbackWe went here for lunch on a weekend and were able to find the table easily, no wait. The food here is very flavourful and we loved everything we ordered. This place has plenty of vegetarian options and they are very flexible to make a particular dish vegetarian if you ask. We especially liked the roti canai, fried noodles and Malaysian coffee. We will be returning for sure
Haven't ordered from here for 6 years (according to my last review) and I'm really glad I gave this place another chance. I don't see many Malaysian restaurants in the area. Most are just Thai places that may have some Malaysian dishes on the menu, so I have a newfound appreciation that this is in the neighborhood. My husband and I dropped in on a Friday at around 7:30 to dine in. The place was pretty full but luckily, we didn't have to wait. To start, we ordered some kind of appetizer sampler. It had fried tofu, bean curd skin roll, and something else. It was very underwhelming. Everything tasted overly fried and dry. Thankfully, the entrees were much better. I ordered the Char Kueh Teow and it was really good. Better than some other Malaysian restaurants in Chinatown. They use broad flat noodles here, which I love whereas I'm used to this dish being made with the thinner ones. It was a nice upgrade. Hubby had the Beef Redang. The curry sauce was great but I don't normally love braised beef because it tends to be chewy and/or dry. Def want to come back and explore some of the other Malaysian specialties they have to offer.
Chicken satay skewers and lotus leaf wrapped shrimp rice were out of the world. Vegetarian drunken noodles were perfection. The staff was super amazing and provided ample options for our vegetarian/vegan friends.
Appetizers were too good to go again, though they’ve very small portions. Fumali roti is very fresh and crispy. Loved their omelette.
I let my Singaporean wife order everything we had here, and every single dish was extremely satisfying. I especially loved the Mee Goreng (Indian style. Decent food portions, decent-looking tab (10% cash discount applied at the end of the evening.
