Saku - Hoboken

The cook is THE BEST!!! My husband and I went to Saku tonight and ordered a few things, including the tuna fish tar. It tasted fishy and the color seemed a little off. As uncomfortable as it was, we sent it back. The waitress was so gracious and apologised and told us she would take it out of the account. Then the chef came out and apologized, and brought us Lachstar. It was delicious! He came out again and brought us another kind of tuna dish on the house. He thanked us for saying something because it is his job to make the customers happy. Eddie is the best!!!! So thank you for having restaurants like these in Hoboken.

Great, cute place to eat with friends or go on a nice date. Food was excellent with a variety of options. Delicious cocktails too. Somehow expensive but worth it. Very recommended for groups of 3 or more. I had the short rib and pomegranate.

Beautiful interior and attentive service, but very mediocre and expensive roles. We ordered a sushi plate that comes with 8 reels (99$). Even if the order looks massive, we find nothing special or significant about any of the reels, nor were they cheap. If you are looking for sushi, it will make sense to hop on the train path to NYC or drive to JC with a light train and have an Omakase for the same price (Sushi on Jones or Sushi by Bou). Attention! The place calculates 3% processing fee when you use a credit card (which I see for the first time and definitely do not make the place look good.

Phenomenal food, phenomenal drinks and phenomenal service. I came here tonight with a few friends for an early birthday celebration and was so happy with the delicious food, complex and tasty drinks, and this hype man of a waitress. I didn't catch her name so awkwardly posting this awesome picture of her celebrating my birthday with us, thank you for a great evening! I'll be back soon for sure!!

Great sushi and Asian food spot with fun drinks and really nice decor. I?ve been here two times and plan to keep going back! Each time, we got a bunch of appetizers but there?s still so much more I want to try! Very tasty and would recommend.
