Fran's Italian Deli - Hoboken

Amazing! It's a Hoboken staple and a must if you are visiting or a local. Their mutz (mozzarella) is fresh and handmade. The bread is perfect, the right amount of crust and chew. The staff is super sweet and accommodating. If you are craving a traditional Italian sub, an eggplant Parmesan, etc Fran's is a must

Absolutely fantastic! Went with family and had prosciutto mozzarella sandwich, pesto chicken sandwich, both were mesmerizing, the mozzarella is hand made daily and it is the best mozzarella I've ever tasted, the prosciutto was super fresh and delicious. Prices are very reasonable.

I've been a loyal Fran's customer until today. I convinced my co-workers to try Fran's instead of our usual Vito's for lunch, we placed an order at 11:30 and waited patiently. Until 1:15 when our food finally arrived. One hour and forty-five minutes later. Unfortunately this gets worse, the sandwiches were soggy and barely enjoyable. What happened Fran's? I've never been this disappointing by you guys and I vouched for you. Big let down. UPDATE: I decided to give them another chance, and all my gripes from the previous order were resolved, the food came quickly, was fresh and delicious. Changed 2 star to 4.

Not the coziest place to sit and eat but the sandwiches taste great and are a great value. Staff is friendly and can be pretty accommodating. Pretty much a perfect place for a quick lunch. EDIT: RIP Fran's. You will be missed.

I have to say, this salad was AWESOME! The mutz was sooooooooo fresh.. I am super picky with chicken and when I tell you, THE CHICKEN WAS REALLY GOOD, I am not exaggerating. It was chopped perfectly for my salad. Portion was great for the money. My coworker had a grilled chicken pesto sandwich and he loved it too! We will definitely be ordering here again! Added bonus*GrubHub said 45min-1hour but it came in 25minutes!!
