Cattle Baron - Hobbs

I visited this restaurant once, and honestly, I never returned. First impressions matter, and so does the food. The taste is even more crucial. Mediocre food is better suited for fast food establishments.

Food was delishous. Husband had steak and potatoe .I had,chicken alfredo. Only complaint is the cost of salad extra from meal. Parking: Its was ok but lot had many parked vehicles. My husband is,not handicapped but get shortness of breath. Need spots,for 75 and over or reserved for veterans

Loaded potato skins were good. Disappointed in the loaded mashed potatoes as they were cold. Prime rib tasted good, but it was really hard to cut on the outside of the beef. This is kind of to be expected with the amount of fat that was on it. But, the problem was the knife trying to cut the tendons. A regular steak knife like Texas Roadhouse doesn't work well. Parking: Parking was ok, but congested when trying to park a short bed truck. The other side of tge resturant might have been better.

Absolutely loved the western theme. Ambiance was amazing. Not too many restaurants with a salad bar, especially a fresh, delicious one. Prome rib was perfect. Highly recommend this place.
