Post street social is one of the places that makes hobart cbd “aliv”, literally. since most restaurants are close early, we decided to stop at this bar/restaurant we had deep fried calamari, Korean fried chicken with cumin and chickenburger. like most of the food I tried in tassie, the foods here were also moderate and expensive service was indifferent. if I were the owner, I would make sure that my customers, especially the tourists, have the best impression of my business so that they can return. not in this case. we were politely urged to have “the last piece of our food” so that the waiter could clean up the table.
On this public holiday evening, most places seemed to be stopped here for evening drinks! it is located on franklin wharf and has a beautiful view from kai to water as we are in hobart, it is about the whisky and gin. in our case gin tonics as well as lemon, lime bitters. order yourself at the bar and find yourself a place to enjoy the drinks. service is friendly and drinks well made so that we were happy campers. there are indoor and outdoor seating, but since it was a nice night, we decided to sit outside.
Good place for a beer. but don't eat. had a group that tried most dinge on the menu. most of the things were actually infallible and we left most on the table and went and got something else, although we were very hungry. Honestly, don't eat here. every single place is better
A bar. a place and surprisingly good we eat here in a hurry. almost abandoned when we are here on a cold and wet Monday night. but later he was full. they have spent a lot on the fit and it deserves to be successful. the menu is designed to share. the personal is really very good and happy to discuss bierrecommendations and the bare dinner. we had pork bao spicy, delicate black and very delicate brittle), pot stickers served on a crunchy pancake that tastes better than it sounds green beans with spicy pork minze vaguely sczechuan and a big hit) and some deep roasted calamari ok but screaming for some aioli cost was $100 for 2
