Possums Apartments - Hobart

Lovely setting. The unit was well set up and very comfortable.

From Anne Ferguson. I made a mistake when I booked this accommodation, expecting it to be self catering. It isn't. It would be an ideal place for a weekend in Hobart. Ideal hideaway. Lovely views. Lovely hosts, Nola and Don, very keen to help in any way without being in our way. Lovely room, lovely bathroom, very cosy for two nights at most. We had booked for 7 nights and were kindly offered a refund if we could find anywhere else. Unfortunately Hobart was extremely busy so we stayed and made the best of it. Nola and Don lent us an air-fryer to cook with, which worked very well for us. I'd certainly recommend Possums to anyone visiting Hobart for one or two nights. The mistake was mine but it worked out ok. (Could probably do with a clean behind and under furniture

Great location for private sphere, back area with bbq. This wonderful experience has been facilitated with a handy scam of local entertainment contacts and eating in the room. last minute accommodation, staff were very happy to help. tw in room and bathroom, 2 persons wellness bath and shower with a dehumidifier for comfort. tea and coffee accessories as well as basic white goods (minimum refrigerator, toaster, water cooker etc.).

Fantastic hotel in hobart to stay! great location for private sphere and relaxation.

Overall excellent experience. Owner was not on site but was great with communication and checking in. Suite itself was lovely and well-presented, lots of wildlife around (falcons/possums/ many tiny birds) which is really nice and a good break from city life, while not actually being that far from Hobart itself. Views are nice but still private. Only two minor things I would suggest could be improved occupants of the neighbouring suite would shower quite late, and there was a pretty loud squealing coming from their pipes (woke me up once or twice). The other thing was the internet is really slow so I relied on my phone data (very good reception in the area so no worries there). Honestly it was overall a great experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to come back as these things are pretty minor.
