Peacock and Jones - Hobart

Imitate & cosy - a perfect place for that special date or imitate catch up with friends, a place that makes you feel so welcomed & relaxed. Share plates are on the menu (I must admit I am now over the tapas share style menus - I just want to eat a decent portion of food! ????). I was more than happy to skip the share style & go straight for the main meals but being with a foodie, we ordered a range of tapas plates as well as main & dessert. Highlights for me in the tapas range was the market fish, which was salmon, served with salmon belly & Tasmanian avocado. Wow, so creamy & melt in your mouth. The true highlights for me was the main market fish, which was blue eye. Wow!!!!! This was so good, crispy skin, beautiful potatoes. I want another reason to come here to have this & the dessert of ginger brulee. Perfection. The eclaire was a let down of all the dishes, it was too cripsy like toasted bread. Service was excellent - staff are very knowledgeable of the food on the menu & attentive (with appropriate space). I have a wonderful evening! I will definitely go back. Nb - there is a courtyard, probably where large groups would be seated. It doesn't invoke that ambience of intimacy but still nice.

Unul dintre cele mai bune mici pete pe care le-am găsit în Hobart. Mâncăruri de carne gătite frumos și locație confortabilă, ambientală în vechile mori de-a lungul malul mării.

Am o recomandare de la un prieten pentru ou @ vizitând în Homart. Un restaurant bun, ambianță frumoasă, vinul nu atât de mare. Media totală. Alimentele au fost bune, dar nu uimitoare.

Cool dining areas with view into the kitchen. Nice cozy seating area with fireplace in the indoor courtyard. Pleasant dinning experience. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend: Set menu $48  •Risotto, green peas, lightly smoked haddock, prawns, baby spinach •Rocket pinenut parmesan salad  •Mango semifreddo, lime curd, coconut meringue (lovely and refreshing)   Lovely fresh food and full of flavour. Both dishes were delicious!  The following dishes were also enjoyed: • Scallop pudding •Duck with Boudin Noir - very nice 19/1/17

Acest restaurant nu se poate plânge. Alimentele au fost excelente. Lista de băuturi este la fel de impresionantă. Personalul era prietenos, informat și fără pretențios. Fiecare loc care servește o chelneriță în Blunnia primește un semn de verificare în cartea mea!
