Sure, the decor is drab, but look past that and make your own fun. It's usually pretty quiet because Kettering is a little place but drop in on your way to / from Bruny Island or make the 30'minute trip from Hobart. You wont regret the t!
This is a simple place but with a great view of the marina. The food is on display (great Turkish tradition). It includes some not quite Turkish items like samosas. Highlights were stuffed vine leaves and buttered rice. This restaurant had a sister in North Hobart but alas that has closed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. All the food choices were very tasty and generous portions. Our son required a vegan meal and they were able to cater to his requirements. I enjoyed some delicious hot tea at the end of my meal with some turkish delight...yum!!!
Fairly typical Turkish fare but well done and plenty of it. Six dips to try with the turkish bread and they had their own distinctive flavours and good sized portions of each. The chicken was very very tender and very tasty indeed. Service was reasonably good, given there was clearly training on the job happening for some staff. Made for amusing watching, but all orders were correct (including wine) and no delay in food arriving. Good value.
Found this place whilst looking for somewhere to eat. The pide bread was delicious, and the Turkish sausage and lamb koftes were delicious. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the baklava and rose flavoured Turkish delight.
