Mezethes Greek Taverna - Hobart

Surprisingly delightful breakfast! A Greek taverna isn't your typical breakfast place, but I was truly impressed by the quality of the delicious scrambled eggs and bacon on toast. The thick slices of toast were beautiful, and the bacon was cooked exactly to my liking!

When the food arrived, I was blown away—the flavors exceeded my expectations and easily rivaled, if not surpassed, many of the Greek restaurants we had dined at in Greece! I can't recommend this place highly enough. It deserves an easy five-star rating!

This is another fantastic spot located just off the main Salamanca road. The Mediterranean cuisine is delicious, complemented by exceptional service and a lovely atmosphere. The mushroom appetizer was my personal favorite. Be sure to stop by for a delightful dinner. Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3.5/5 Food: 4/5 Value for Money: 4/5

Another pleasant surprise at the back of the Salamanca strip. We both shared the humus dip as a starter. By far the best humus we have ever had. Our main courses were both very enjoyable but we had to share our sweet as the serves are very generous. We both highly recommend this eatery even if it is a bit expensive. But then again quality comes at a price.

Called in advance to book and pre-pay for dinner for my parents who were on holidays from Melbourne for dad's 70th. When my parents arrived, the staff at Mezethes greeted them warmly and treated them so wonderfully throughout the evening. I pre-ordered the banquet plus glass of wine and baklava each, which they loved and left very full! The staff even gave an additional complementary glass of wine each, as a celebration of the occasion. Was so pleased that the team put out all the stops to make sure it was such a memorable night for them. Thank you!!
