I went on Tuesday, went in and happy to have a table for the 5 of us. the location is quite difficult to recognize, hidden in a street next to the mini stop convenience store. go straight and the entrance to the dach is on the right side. they have to climb up a stairs to get to the 6th dach? floor.
Such a romantic place to have dinner. The view is so amazing. Staffs are friendly. Foods are nice. You need to go inside the alley 36 on Le Loi street. Then you will see a green door the right. Turn into the apartment and go up to the 5th floor. Then you will see the restaurant.
Chicken wing sauté 65k Garlic fried rice 85k Clay pot Braised chicken 65k Pork fried egg 65k Water 25k Over all Everything was well cooked and had great flavor. Portions are fairly small. My wife and I shared those 4 dishes and were satisfied. The egg dish was overly salty and the chicken wing sauté had some bone fragments due to the style of portioning chicken in Asia. The view is nice but will be much better when they finish the construction in the street. The staff is attentive and handled our group of about 24 well with other customers in the restaurant. Food comes out Asian style(in pieces when it’s ready). It was a warm day and they managed to keep everything cool even with the open air concept. The roof top would be a great place for a group after dark.
Location: actually 36/xxLe Loi boulevard, in the alley of 36 Staff: we were the early bird, came at 10:30 so only us and 10 staff and they were not really nice but not so bad to be honest Food: so so. Food display was bad, not well organized as it should be at its price.
Tourist trap. I hardly leave reviews but this was so bad I couldn’t help but warn travelers. Entree portions were incredibly small (see photos using a normal fork for plate size comparison). Food was mediocre and not quite local food (we only ate it because we were starving and the prices were so high to get our money’s worth). Our pork dish was over cooked. The staff barely speaks English which is odd since their menu is in English. The staff was unprofessional, they even started eating their dinner about an hour before closing time with half the dining room filled. Tax was not included. This place is 4 5 flights of stairs up you’re better off saving your energy and going somewhere else. I understand that I shouldn’t expect everyone to speak English here but if the food was great, fast, and decently priced, I would be totally happy. That was not the case here.
