Cafe 2 - Hjoerring

The location is very good relative to the harbour, and you get a good view on it. In the afternoon the place is usually crowded with Norwegians waiting for the ferry departure in the early evening. We were in just for a cup of coffee and some ice. The coffee was served quickly, but the ice took a long wait before it arrived on the table. Reason unknown.

We were on the look-out for lunch and found this place. We ordered some easy sandwiches. They were very nicely presented and tasted excellent, we can recommend this place.

We came in 21.30 on Fiskefestival night. Very friendly and prompt service. Food was absolutely delicious.

I have eaten the classic sandwich Stjerneskud all over Denmark I love it! I am absolutely certain that the one I had here was the best I have had in years, or maybe ever. Crispy fish, large, fresh prawns and salmon roe may have been trout . Only thing I would change was the tinned aspargues could have been fresh. Service with a smile as always!

I've been stopping here before taking the ferry to Norway on numerous times. I am always met with a smile and extraordinary good service, even for Danmark. The cafe has lots of ferry-guests, and delivers high standard food even on the busiest nights. I am always happy when I leave.
