O'charley's Hixson

Let's start off by saying this restaurant stinks. Literally stinks. It smells like straight up B.O. I honestly couldn't even stand eating my food with the smell, after asking to move because we thought the smell was the people next to us. No, it's just the building. Also, the dishes and silverware were dirty. But the smell was more unappealing if that says anything.

O'Charley's is closed, not open. How can you save a percentage when the restaurant isn't even there?

The service was outstanding. Mandy was very polite and attentive without being overbearing, ensuring we never felt neglected. She even brought extra chicken tenders for my wife, who adores them, as we were celebrating her birthday. I enjoyed the garlic shrimp pasta and finished every bite. I highly recommend this place!

I ordered through the O'Charley's app for the first time for curbside pickup. For the most part, ordering was easy. As a newcomer to the O'Club, I qualified for a free appetizer. The offer did appear in my account and I was able to apply it. The problem was that I ordered on a Wednesday. On Wednesdays, O'Charley's gives you a free whole pie if you order a family meal to go. I figured I would put the pie in my cart, and the price should automatically be deducted, right? Nope. The price was not deducted, so I removed it from my cart. So then I decided to call them (Hixson Pike location) to find out how to get my free pie if the app wasn't deducting the price. The woman I spoke to didn't even know what I was talking about. She said they did free pie only for dine in. That's a different promo free slice of pie with any entree if you do dine in. That's not what I was asking about. So then I decided to just place the order without the pie, and I'd talk to them when I did my curbside pickup. When I called after I arrived for curbside pickup, I explained the app situation to the guy on the phone, and he said no problem, they'd bring out the pie with my order. Great! When my order was brought out, I asked the woman if the pie was in there, and she said yes. I got home, and lo and behold, no pie. This was a ridiculous process to go through to still end up with no pie. So frustrating! I specifically ordered my meal on a Wednesday to get the free pie. The reason I gave 3 stars and not just 1 star for this very frustrating experience is that the food is very good and the people are friendly. But don't be sending reminder emails to O'Club members about getting a free pie when you're not actually going to give it to them.

The absolute slowest people I've ever done business with. Very few customers there, but the food took nearly an hour to arrive, and part of it was cold. When I paid, in cash, it took 15 minutes to make change.
