The Half Moon - Hitchin

This is the best pub in Hitchin for great beer, always featuring a decent and varied selection.

The Half Moon is a must-visit pub if you ever find yourself in this area. I worked there for a few months and always enjoyed a pint whenever I could. The staff were incredibly friendly, and I have to give a special shout-out to the legendary man who worked there.

This spacious pub was our second visit for birthday celebrations, and it proved to be a great choice. Unfortunately, they were unable to prepare food for our group of nine this time. They offer a wide selection of tapas, along with more traditional options like pork and duck. The lively atmosphere was enhanced by a great mix of patrons, including many seasoned diners.

Great beer, lovely food chilli cheesey chips a family favourite! Helpful staff and good range of real ales. Wish we lived closer....
