We had a portion of the chana massala eggplant and lotus curries with two tumeric rice. Curries tastes very similar and looked almost identical too Very friendly and helpful staff would recommend if your in the area
Kanak have quite a lot of vegetarian options, for appetisers and entrees. We had a set menu of a salad, vegetable samosas and a curry (choose between tofu, vegetable, spinach or chana masala) with rice or naan. Everything was very tasty and very filling! My friend who was has visited India said the samosas were very authentic of what she ate there. Free WiFi for those travelling.

The food at this restaurant is very flavorful without being overly spicy. I ordered the Chana masala with veg pakora, chappati, and Turmeric rice, and the portions were large and satisfying. The menu can be a bit confusing as the veg and vegan options are not clearly labeled, but the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about vegan choices. There is also a Nepali influence in the cuisine. Overall, a positive dining experience.
It was a challenge to find vegan options in Hiroshima, but we stumbled upon this restaurant that was packed with a tourist group from India. Despite being busy, they graciously made space for us as a party of two. Due to the large group, they were offering a buffet lunch with unlimited food options. The food was outstanding, and they even went above and beyond to accommodate our vegan dietary preferences by making extra vegan bread for us. Dining with the group was a pleasant experience as they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It almost felt like we were transported to India for a little while.
