When my food was finally ready, she bagged it up and went to hand it to me, but then hesitated and asked if I had paid for it. I reminded her that I had. She then tried to justify holding back the food by saying I hadn’t given her the $1,000 tip. I told her I didn’t have time for games and needed to leave. Eventually, she gave me the food, but I checked it before leaving and found that the burger was missing bacon, and the fried chicken dinner only contained chicken with no sides or cornbread. I informed her about the missing items, and she said she would have them prepared. They brought out a new plate with the sides but still hadn’t included the bacon or cornbread. Although she managed to get the cornbread, she then informed me they were out of bacon. I paid $1.10 for the bacon, so I asked for a refund. She then claimed that cheese and bacon were the same price, and she had forgotten to charge me for the cheese. At that point, I rolled my eyes, trying to leave, but she stood in front of me, blocking my way, and insisted on fixing the issue. I told her to step aside as I had already spent far too long there. Once I got home and we began eating, my husband took a few bites of his chicken and found it was undercooked, oozing blood. All three pieces (thighs) were raw inside, forcing him to throw his meal away and go out to find something else to eat. If you care about your health and sanity, I strongly recommend choosing a different restaurant to dine at!

The food was not great had to drown the fried chicken in hot sauce because of no seasoning. Collard greens taste like they were from a can, Mac n cheese was cold. Resturant Floor was super sticky the whole place looked dirty from traffic I guess and the resturant had an old mop water odor . Kid at register was more concerned about talking about Highschool escapades rather than putting a fork and napkin in my bag and cleaning up. I wish it was better as there’s no soul food out that way. But I’m not going again.
