Jade Dragon - Hinsdale

Another of these better than expected Chinese places in a suburb without going beyond other places. if they eat quite good for cheap.

I haven't been the Jade Dragon for five years. I had to go to the hinsdale hospital to visit a friend we came here after eating so they were hungry.

Ordered a wonton soup to eat in. Our server was polite, but then the owner came over and kicked us out bc we didn’t spend enough money. he said the minimum was 10 dollars, which I get if the place was packed, but we were the only people in the restaurant.

Food was delivered late and cold. Possibly tasted good hot but not cold. The crab Rangoon had great flavor and was the best of our order. The sesame chicken was cold and chewy. Egg rolls stone cold. Shrimp fried rice was really good even cold.

General tso's chicken linch. Place is good! Wish they gave more portions though of meat though. The breading on the chicken was tasty but was like 70% of a piece. Going to try mongolian beef next time.... They have a delicious home made sweet and sour sauce.
