We were excited to finally check out Hinesburg Public House. Unfortunately, we didn’t have an overall great experience. We thought it might be busy on a Saturday night but got there at 5:50 pm and were surprised to find there were only 4 tables sat. 2 of them were just about finished their meals. We opted to sit on the deck. Our water was brought over quickly along with being asked about drinks. It took almost 15 minutes to be able to place our order. We ordered 2 burgers and a fried chicken sandwich. It shouldn’t have taken long, but it was 50-55 minutes until we were served our food. Since we were sitting outside, we could see exactly when new patrons arrived which was well after we had ordered our food. We have little kids as well so having to wait this long for simple sandwiches when there were barely any tables filled in the restaurant is a little ridiculous. The food was hot but not really worth it given the time it took to arrive along with the price. The server was nice and friendly but the food just took way too long. For vegetarians, the spicy garbanzo wrap is an excellent choice. They offer options to accommodate various dietary restrictions. As for parking, there is plenty available, and the restaurant is kid-friendly with menu options for younger diners. It is also wheelchair accessible. In terms of service, I had a pleasant dine-in experience for dinner. The price per person ranges from $20 to $30.
