The Gov - HINDMARSH

The gow is a noble institution and a great place for live music. it is also a cool place to take a drink and to catch up with friends. I went for a rework and the plates were really generous.

Pub eat as good as they can find somewhere else in adelaide, new menu is on point to try more of it. kangaroo stroganoff was the egg that were identical to the garlic bread to make this a weekly affair.

I was never at a place with so much character and ambiente. the open fireplaces, the beautiful wooden top and the quirky musical instruments that decorate the front bar, have really set the scene when entering the hotel. the employees welcome them as an old friend and make them very welcome. the restaurant service and the food were especially impressed by the porterhouse steak and the crispy black buckle! a short trip to the venue allows them to sit outside with a perfect view of the stage. this place just works so well!

Beautiful, thoughtful and friendly staff brought me the most beautiful beetroot and goat cheese pizza on the gow last weekend. there were several vegetarian elements on the menu that were actually kreatiw and exciting, including Vego additions on their special and hotpot boards. Quirky, fun atmosphere and tasty food! New chef is fantastic always something different on the specials board. Can always count on the wood oven pizzas. Love The Gov!
