Contribuiți la feedbackWe ordered delivery from this restaurant last weekend and received our food very late and cold, with our potatoes smashed. When we called to complain, they stated they couldn't do anything but took down our name and address for a discount on our next order. When we ordered again this weekend, I reminded them of the previous experience and requested the discount. The person over the phone claimed to have no knowledge of the previous conversation and accused me of lying. After expressing my dissatisfaction and threatening to leave a negative review, they finally remembered our previous complaint and offered a discount. I found their offer insufficient as it had affected our last meal, so they revised the discount to $18.95. I pointed out their mistake in offering the same discount twice and ended the call.
This is Willowbank. We have been regulars at this curry takeout since we moved here last May. I can't find any faults with the food as it has always been delicious, but the service has been disappointing lately. Our orders have been cancelled, food has been missed or forgotten, and we even had to wait 2 hours for delivery. Today, we were promised that an order mistake from last week would be rectified, but we received chicken tikka instead of lamb tikka and our salads for starters were missed once again. Even though we love the food here, we are now considering trying a different restaurant due to these ongoing issues with our orders.
I recently had a takeaway during the Christmas season and opted to pick it up myself. The restaurant was extremely busy with phone calls and orders coming in through Just Eat, indicating its popularity. The staff member I interacted with was friendly and courteous. After ordering, I collected my food 40 minutes later. We ordered the keema naan with extra keema, and it was definitely worth it as it was packed with filling. My only criticism is that our total came to £33 and we had to add on poppadoms and dips, which were priced at £0.75 each. It felt a bit expensive to pay for 2 poppadoms, chutney, onion salad, and yoghurt. It's possible that we would have received some for free if we hadn't purchased them, but I'm not certain. On the bright side, we did receive a free bottle of coke with our order.
I currently live in East Anglia but am originally from Tamworth. I have never found a good Indian takeaway in East Anglia, so while staying in Tamworth, I decided to try this takeaway based on the reviews. I must say, this is the best Indian takeaway I have had in years. The food was delivered early and still hot. It is definitely the best Indian takeaway I have had since moving 10 years ago. I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.
I ordered through Just Eat at 7:30pm for a delivery at 8:30pm. The food eventually arrived at 9:30pm, after I called at 9pm and struggled to communicate with the person on the phone who did not speak English well. They finally informed me that they were very busy and would be leaving soon to deliver my order, promising it would take only "15 minutes." Unfortunately, the food arrived cold and the popadoms were all broken. Despite being a loyal customer in the past, I will be seeking out other options in the future. It seems that every time you order through Just Eat and set a delivery time, they automatically add on an extra 30 minutes, making it pointless to preset a time at all.
