Up The Creek Pub Grill

Ate dinner outside on a Wednesday evening with view of the water. Restaurant was only about half full. I'd say the food was overall good, but not great. Our server messed up my order and gave me a plate instead of the sandwich that I ordered. She gave me the bun to go with it but only credited me back half the price that it should have been. Oh well. I'd be open to try and this place again, especially since most places are so busy on the island.

Went there at 9:30 and there was plenty of open tables, very wobbly. Wasn't sure if we were going to be served or had to order at bar, when our hostess appeared. Great menu with a kids menu, too. My wife had the Cobb salad, son had a burger, and I had a blackened mahi sandwich, with a side of pups. Everything was perfect and the food came out fast. Hush puppies were the best I've had, since I was a seafood cook at a fish camp in high school. The cooks in the back are excellent. Food and drink prices are the lowest I've seen around here, by far. Only detractors were some customers that were incredibly loud, I mean LOUD, playing with their kids, chasing them around. Metallic tasting water. We will be back.

We love eating here with the kids, always great food and drinks. Attentive servers and really accommodating. Our 2nd year in Hilton Head and 4th time here.

This is one of our go to’s every time we come to the Island! Great food, relaxed atmosphere great service!! Thank you again!

Only giving this spot an overall 4 because of how displeased everyone on the staff seemed to be. When we arrived the hostess acted like we were inconveniencing her and our server was not friendly or inviting. The service was quick, and we got our food and drinks fast. Husband and I both ordered fish tacos. He got the mahi mahi and I got trigger. I liked mine better but he liked his better. We had both of them blackened and the salsa topper was perfect. The fried okra and hush puppies did not disappoint. Oh, and we started with the spinach artichoke dip we actually finished the dip before the chips! Very tasty. Also dog friendly.
