Java Burrito Co. - Hilton Head Island

I've seen pictures of the food at this restaurant for years and was finally in the area to give it a try. My daughter and I were really looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, the staff were quite unfriendly, and the food was truly disappointing. I can't even fully express how bad it was, but I'll do my best. We spent $48 on two burritos, queso, guacamole, salsa, chips, and two drinks. While this is a bit on the expensive side, I wouldn't have minded if the food had been good. The sweet tea was the worst I’ve ever had in South Carolina, and both the chicken and steak had an unpleasant taste—like instant meat, for lack of a better comparison. The queso was inedible; it was nothing like any queso I've ever tasted. We ended up tossing most of our meal and headed to another place for dinner. I cannot recommend this restaurant. Save your time and money—it's just not worth it.

Cute place, the turmeric latte was awesome. They associates with should be nicer though!

Great little spot. Starbucks meets chipotle and ends up better than both. Trash cans openings were too small.

As always, this restaurant has a great menu along with a staff that makes sure your dining experience is memorable. As a 37 year local, i can tell you that this place just does everything right! The manager Thomas personally makes sure that you leave happy. If you don't, then just don't visit our island anymore! ?? Parking: There's plenty of parking due to the size of this shopping strip

Lovely place. Great burrito bowls, coffees, and service. Even after returning years later to HHI, it remains a family favorite. Love the red spicy sauce! Parking: Plenty of parking. Decent sized spots. Kid-friendliness: There are various sized tables. The covered outdoor patio allows for large families to sit at and not worry about being too loud. There is also a good variety of foods if there are picky eaters in the group.
