Bad Biscuit - Hilton Head Island

Bad Biscuit is fantastic if you're after a genuinely elevated biscuit experience! The food is outstanding, no question about it. The shrimp and grits are incredibly tasty. These biscuits are definitely oversized, so come with a big appetite! If you leave feeling hungry, that's on you! The restaurant is spotless and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The owner and staff are exceptional and well-informed about the area, offering us some great recommendations to enhance our vacation.

This was our final stop in Hilton Head Island before heading back to North Carolina, and from now on, it will be our first stop every time we visit HHI! My wife and I enjoyed the Savage Skillet and ordered the Cinnamon Biscuits with Caramel and Rum Sauce. They were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend them! The biscuits were indulgently "bad" in the best way possible—fluffy, warm, and incredibly flavorful! The overall experience, the food, and the vibe of this place were fantastic!

Bad Biscuit is a somewhat hidden gem that you won't want to miss. They serve delicious breakfast biscuits that come with your choice of eggs and breakfast meats, along with other Southern breakfast staples. We tried the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit, accompanied by a hash brown cake and a side of sausage gravy — everything was fantastic. The place was busy, filled with hungry customers and only one register, but surprisingly, the wait wasn't long at all. It was definitely worth it! I also noticed they offer take-and-bake biscuits to enjoy on the go, so I might have to grab some next time. Be sure to stop by!

I had high expectations for this restaurant based on previous reviews, and it definitely did not disappoint. The biscuit is absolutely amazing. I ordered the hot chicken biscuit, which was recommended as the most popular item, and it exceeded my expectations. I've only lived in the southeastern US for a few years, but I've tried fried chicken at various places, and this was some of the best I've had. I thought the biscuit would be the standout, but the chicken was equally fantastic. The service was impressively quick, and there is plenty of outdoor seating available. This place truly deserves every one of its five-star reviews.

I checked out the reviews and decided to give this local restaurant a try for breakfast while waiting for our tennis team’s afternoon match to begin. I ordered the Hot Chicken Biscuit, Mushroom Cobbler with a biscuit, a side of scrambled eggs, and a coffee. Everything was delicious! I’m not a fan of regular creamer, so my only suggestion would be for them to offer nut or soy creamer or milk as well. The interior is cozy; the front area is welcoming and the open seating towards the back is quite nice. I also enjoyed the artwork on the walls! I hope I remember their names correctly, but Trisha, who took my order and made sure I got exactly what I wanted, and Franklin, who served my food at the table, were both very friendly.
