Mayers Lake Ontario Winery Bistro

This was an absolute feast!!! The food was amazing!! The feast started with a sample of delicious sharp cheddar cheese. Next came pumpkin soup sprinkled with cinnamon. After the soup was a fabulous salad of greens, crumbled bleu cheese, sliced pears, craisins walnuts w/a vinaigrette dressing. Then came a huge chicken pot pie with a homemade crust to die for it reminded me of my mom's) and cranberry applesauce and after that was beef tenderloin with a cranberry glaze, green beans, and roasted potato. To finish the night off, your choice of pumpkin or apple pie or peach melba which was served with your choice of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Also, each course was paired with your choice of different wine, hard cider, or beer. I highly recommend this winery, especially if they have another farm to table. Wonderful staff and even better to know you're supporting our local farmers. Make sure you check it out, you won't be disappointed! P.S. me

Yesterday was our daughters baby shower at Lake Ontario Winery and Vineyards-and it was absolutely beautiful! I am a perfectionist when it comes to planning events and always worry prior- but her shower was perfect. The room overlooking the vineyard was gorgeous, the brunch was delicious, the mimosa bar set up was adorable with many juices and fresh fruit, silver buckets for champagne, the room was done exactly as I had asked, (and I'm a pain) we had everything we needed for me to put up my decorating, (which was a lot) and our service was excellent. Working with Lorraine from day one was a pleasure and she was there for our shower to make sure everything ran smoothly. Nearly every guest mentioned that they loved the location and the room, and I was beyond happy that my daughter had a gorgeous shower. Would highly recommend for a lovely event space overlooking the vineyard. Large room with a fireplace, brick, gorgeous walls of windows with a great view and a pretty wood bar. I have great photos if anyone is looking to see a setup.

A great place. Tons of events, like dinners, tastings, wine trail tours, and even classes! I wish they did a better job advertising all of the things going on the Facebook page is a great step in the right direction, though! I have yet to try any food, but I have heard good things, and plan to try some soon. The ciders are great flavorful, and not too sweet. Wines are delicious the Pink Diamond is my favorite, and the Pirates line is really good, too. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend visiting for a tasting!

Just hosted a bridal shower here! It was absolutely perfect! The prices were extremely reasonable, the food was great, the venue itself was gorgeous, the staff was awesome! I highly recommend it for any type of party!

I just had my baby shower there on 2/25, and everything was perfect! Lorraine was so nice to work with, and the staff was just as nice!! We didn’t have to worry about anything! The food was delicious too! I highly recommend this place to anyone!
