Seoul Station - Hilo

I stopped by this restaurant to grab lunch bentos because I was craving some meat jun. They offered a meat jun and mandu combo or meat jun and BBQ chicken. Feeling hungry, I decided to buy both for $9 each. The meat jun was delicious and I really enjoyed the accompanying sauce. The BBQ chicken was also flavorful and tender. The bentos also came with rice, kim chee, and seaweed. While the taste was top-notch, I found the quantity and value for $9 to be lacking, giving it 5 stars for taste but only 3 stars for portion size. I was able to finish both bentos, and I'm not a big eater, so I believe most locals will still be hungry after one bento.

A hole in the wall must try, that will leave you coming back for more! Anytime I am craving Korean food, this is my go to spot! Since it has been under new ownership, the place has been only going uphill, and impressing me more as I go(which is rare for Hilo! ! The owner is so sweet and genuine. You can tell she has a passion for food! My favorite go-to are kimchee, mochiko chicken, and meat Jun bento. my niece especially loves her Wakame salad and she's a picky eater! we ordered about 10 bentos and about 6 extra sides. Everything was fresh and the bentos were nice and hot! also this is a new owner since I think late 2018(correct me if I'm wrong 5 stars for cleanliness 5 stars for food 5 stars for affordability 5 star customer service

Absolutely delicious!! Don’t let the quaint little shop fool you, I feasted like royalty. There’s a huge distinction of flavor in the personal care and attention to ingredients put into each dish. We ate there for a late lunch and so glad we did. Nothing was left in our dishes and beyond satisfied with every intentions on returning again soon! Thank you for such a wonderful and amazing meal. It was a non-stop symphony to my senses!

This is my first time to Hilo and I was looking for good places to eat and I found this Gem of a place. I love Korean food and I've eaten a lot of them im my life time and the food here was phenomenal as well. As good as the food was, the service was even better. The owner was very attentive and helpful in deciding the food and continued to ask of I needed anything else and that was a very kind gesture. If you want great quality food and an awesome service, you gotta try this place. You will love it just like I did. :
