L&l Hawaiian Barbecue - Hilo

The Hawaiian plate was quite satisfying. It featured macaroni salad, steamed rice, chicken, and beef. Both the beef and chicken were tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection.

Reasonable prices and portions. Counter staff were always friendly and helpful. Food was good quality.

We really enjoy L&L; they have the best mac salad and generous portions, especially when it comes to the meat. However, it's unfortunate that the food court has very limited seating, particularly since a third of the tables were reserved for a party. Additionally, they should provide easy access to cleaning supplies for guests to wipe down tables before or after use. When we asked the staff, they only gave us paper towels sprayed with some cleaning solution. Also, keep in mind that parking is often full, so if it's pouring rain, be prepared to get wet. There are a few other takeout options in the food court, so we plan to return to try some of them.

Asian chicken was a little dry but all in all not to bad.
