The Complete Garden - HILLVUE

My friends and I decided to meet at this restaurant after not visiting for a while since its opening. We were pleasantly surprised by the improved ambience and the addition of several gluten-free options on the menu, which was a great improvement. The staff was attentive and had a nice attitude.

I have had two amazing experiences at this restaurant. The first was on a beautiful sunny day in the garden, and the second was inside during a rainy morning. The food was incredible both times, and the staff was always courteous and lovely. Brunch and bubbles is a great date idea, and I can't wait for our next visit!

We recently had a negative experience at The Complete Garden. Two members of our group ordered alcoholic drinks, but we were told by a staff member that we could not have alcohol without ordering a meal. Even though my daughter attempted to explain that we were sharing food, the staff member insisted that it did not count as a meal and took the drink away. When we requested to speak to the manager, we were met with rudeness and disrespect. The manager claimed to be the owner and refused to listen to our concerns before walking away. Unfortunately, the service did not improve as another group with elderly individuals who had mobility issues were not offered any assistance. Overall, we were extremely disappointed by the experience and have decided not to return to this restaurant.

I WILL NOT return The Complete Garden The Garden Shed Cafe Tamworth. Came to dine with family, and ordered an alcoholic drink along with another family member. We also ordered a significant amount of food around the table. Whilst drinking my drink, the manager owner came past and very arrogantly and rudely removed my drink from the table (unfinished) and told me that I could not order an alcoholic drink if I had not ordered a meal. I tried to advise this person that we had ordered food and was sharing. She said that this was not a meal. I expressed that if this was the case, it should have been advised when we placed the order. I had ordered from the blackboard and not the menu page. Her attitude and arrogance shocked everyone, including the children at her table. Not only did she not attempt to listen, she was aggressive in the way she approached the table, the situation and removed the drink from the table. I attempted to talk to the owner manager who clapped her hands in front of me and rudely told me who she was before walking away and telling me that she would not talk to me. Having been here previously, I was looking forward to bringing new people here. I will not be back and will be taking my business somewhere who treats customers with respect.

Great to get out after Covid-19 restrictions. We visited with a guest for luncheon and found the place very busy.
