Contribuiți la feedbackHave dined here a few times and every time the wait seems to be longer and longer! One Occassion the place was empty and we waited for close to an hour and then they forgot two meals which then arrived once everyone else had eaten! Wait staff seem bored like they don't want to be there!! Ordered take away the other night only to get home to find they had charged us for items they didn't even provide!!
Turkish Crusine - generous servings and accommodates group bookings light entertainment on Saturday nights.
The food was mediocre and definitely needed some improvement. It felt like I was dining in a large kebab shop. The raspberry soft drink tasted like creamy soda, and the waitress even expected us to use our water glasses to drink it. If I could give fewer stars, I would. I recommend not wasting your money here when there are plenty of better restaurants in the area.
Having dines at Efendi many times I took my mates to this place for a night snack at around 8.30 on Good Friday. We ordered a Doner kebab chicken pizza, a chicken Doner kebab and garlic bread. Food took around 20 minutes to arrive which is understandable as they were in the middle of serving a big table. I asked the young guy to get us some hot chilli sauce and he got us a crushed chilli paste in a small oval plate with some coriander and spring onions and it tasted nice with the chips and the kebabs. When we paid the bill I never received the detailed bill. So I asked for one and the young guy couldn't bring the full bill out so the waitress comes with a cunning smile and whilst I was speaking to the Guy she mentions the chilli dip. I got charged for something I never wanted. The dip was $7 for crushed chilli paste with onion and spring onions.FYI Efendi management chilli sauce is not dip and it not an upsell either, it should be made clear by the waiter that there will be a surcharge for hot chilli sauce. All I want to convey through this review is that please do not fool your regular clientele.
I have visited this restaurant for lunch a few times, and the portions are generous and the dips are always delicious. The falafel and meat dishes have been a bit dry on each visit, but everything else has been consistently good. Overall, it's a great addition to the Caroline Springs area.
