Hickory Shack - Hillsboro

The atmosphere was fantastic. Although I ordered my food to go, I can't wait to dine in next time. The vegan BBQ Jackfruit Sandwich was absolutely delicious, and I’m not typically a big fan of jackfruit, so that says a lot! The hostess was incredibly friendly and attentive to my dietary preferences. Their hefeweizen was refreshing, and I'm thrilled that I picked up a six-pack to enjoy at home. I'm really looking forward to sampling their other beer selections! I hope they consider adding at least one more vegan option in the future; a chili for the colder months would be fantastic!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a fantastic experience. The beer was excellent, and the fish and chips were cooked to perfection and tasted great.

I went for brunch and had an amazing experience! The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. My toddler slept peacefully in his stroller the entire time, and the bathroom was equipped with a changing table, diapers, and wipes! I highly recommend this place!

This restaurant is a true gem! The service and staff are fantastic. The drinks and food are top-notch, and I must say, the brats are the best I've ever had. They are made from scratch right on the premises. I highly recommend giving these brats a try!

The beer selection is excellent, and the space is clean and well-kept. The staff are wonderful and attentive. The food was good overall, though not outstanding. The fish tacos were tasty, but not authentically south-of-the-border style. To be fair, I've yet to find a truly authentic Baja taco on this side of the border. The fried items were a bit greasy, which is to be expected with fried food. If you decide to order the pretzel, be prepared—it’s quite large!
