Koa Palmer Gulch Chuck Wagon Dinner

What a friendly atmosphere, perfect for children! Many fun things to enjoy, and the pool area is very clean and welcoming. All the minigolf you ever want. The movies per night were a great way for children to wind up in front of the bed. We enjoyed the ATV street head right in front of the campsite- super comfortable and helped save the gas. The bathroom (Station 5 could have been better house cleaning. There were often 4-5 workers sent to clean the bathroom/shower, but they all sat on their phones; except a female (which I had her name to give her more credit!! Definitely recommended if you stay with children and more than 1 night. There is so much to enjoy, you need at least 3 nights. We were 5 nights with Boy Scouts. The Kiddos were worn every night. Anita was such a sweet lady, gave some of our kids a ride to the campsite because she wanted to give them a ride on her golf cart: she was my favorite employee at Mount Rushmore/Palmer Gulch KOA.

This was a stop after returning from Colorado for my son's wedding. I loved this campsite. It was clean, they had a huge business with many beautiful things in eating two places, ice cream, fudge, coffee shop, riding and so much more. I just wish I had more than one night here. The only bottom was the WLAN, it did not really work, but considering the location, I expected it. I could spend a week or two there to be honest. We didn't have enough time to use all the amenities. I will definitely plan a trip back.

The most beautiful campsite I've ever stayed in. There is so much to do and there are plans to add more. Only know that if you are looking for peace and tranquility in the forest, that is not the place, but it does not claim to be. Overall I enjoyed our stay very much. My daughter is trying to come back with her friends.

Campground was great, the only thing I wished you would have let us choose our camping site if we booked it online. We were not so close to the street in a tent. There were many other tents open and we would rather have been where trees were to block the strong winds. The bathroom rooms were very clean. The crew was very good at interrupting us a minute to go to the bathroom.

The coolest KOA I have ever been to! Plenty of activities to do: horseback riding, walking trails, outdoor activities. Beautiful general store! Food is good, ice cream and pizza were great! Beautiful scenery, and overall very large KOA. Plenty of camper spaces, this place is HUGE! Definitely stay here if in the Mount Rushmore area!
