Cafe New York - Hilden

It is a crowded place but the service is quite fast and the people are really polite and show hospitality. They have nice burgers as well...

It is a popular cafe for coffee and snacks, seats inside and outside. Friendly service, but brush up on your German.

Someone else described this cafe style eaterie as their second living room and I can see easily why. The menu offers a sortment of interesting dishes, especially the "flamkuchen" a type of thin pizza looked delicious and so did the burgers and salads. The decor is modern and the Christmas decoration was very Christmassy, I felt straight away welcomed here. The waitresses are quick and friendly and seem to know everyone by their name. I loved my tea served with hot milk aside and cristalized sugar.My partner loved his Irish coffe although I thought that the whipped cream was wrong.Outside seats with overhead radiators and blankets for those who need to smoke are aplenty and the whole atmosphere was family friendly, with all sorts of people, an interesting place to relax and people watch after your shopping. Love it ,
