The server I spoke with was dismissive and seemed to blame our lack of service on our decision to order the $25 all-you-can-eat special. Our total bill exceeded $325, and I want to clarify that many members of our party ordered quite modestly—like my niece, who only eats chicken and rice. We still paid the $25 cover as per the rules. If the staff or restaurant does not want to accommodate customers who choose to partake in this special for their own reasons, then perhaps it should not be offered. Our complaint is not about the price but about the inadequate service: our drink orders were not taken (several family members wanted alcohol), the appetizers arrived late, the food was served cold and overcooked, and when my brother arrived, he wasn't acknowledged for over 15 minutes. When I returned my overcooked tuna, the server looked at me as if I were unreasonable. I then ordered steak, which took a long time to arrive and was also overcooked.
We were seated at the hibachi table, and I ordered a Blue Hawaiian cocktail, which was fantastic. It gave me a vacation vibe, as if I were dining in a tropical destination without air conditioning. The hibachi chef prepared a meal for my wife that included rice, vegetables, chicken, and sea scallops, which she thoroughly enjoyed. I opted for filet mignon and shrimp with fried rice, and I savored every bite. We also shared the American Dream roll as an appetizer, which was equally delicious. My only complaint was that the salad had way too much dressing. Despite the chaos of flickering lights and the lack of air conditioning, I still found the experience to be enjoyable. I checked Google for other reviews mentioning the power outage and couldn't find any, so it seems the server was right when they said this was an unprecedented situation for them. Overall, it turned out to be a memorable dining experience!
I've visited this restaurant several times, and it’s always a great experience. They are very understanding when it comes to my mother's seafood allergy. The highlight of our visits is definitely the ice cream, which is complimentary by the way!
The wait for the hibachi chef was terrible; there was only one chef available, which resulted in everyone having to wait over an hour for their food. I also discovered dead insects in my meal and near the hibachi grill. Additionally, my plate had a nasty stain on it, suggesting that it hadn't been properly washed. These issues indicate a serious lack of sanitation, which raises health concerns. I'm extremely disappointed.
Honestly the food is below cafeteria quality. Really gross and overpriced. The waiters are not friendly and very standoffish to the customers. I could also smell dirty water in the soup
