The Red Brick Cafe - Highland

Normally I would rate this cafe with a 5 however I have twice been in here and left feeling severely dehydrated.

The lads who run this operation cant do enough to make it a wonderful experience. The food is excellent and even our dog gave it 5 stars for their attention to her, offering fresh water and a choice of dog snacks. It really was the best part of our highlands holiday..thank you so much. Warning: portions are huge, so come hungry! Lovely fresh food and so tasty. It is set in a hardware store [Jans) which also is amazing, and full of stuff you need to buy…..

And I've tried them all, believe me. The coffee is rich and tasty but not bitter. Not too oily and no grit at all (dregs). Seriously 100%. Also the staff are friendly and well trained. Good management here, even as regards the parking policy! I love it. I'm only sorry I forgot to bring cash for a tip but will remember next time.

I visited this restaurant twice in five days and I might have to squeeze in a third visit if I'm lucky! I found this place on Tripadvisor and decided to have lunch here based on the good reviews. It's located at the back of a hardware store in a small commercial area, and it's a hidden gem. The menu is fantastic with plenty of options, including breakfast served all day, daily specials, great coffee, and friendly staff. On our first visit, we both had tasty breakfast buns, and on our second visit today, we tried the delicious panini and bagels. It can get busy, so you might have to wait a few minutes for a table, but that's because this cafe is popular with both locals and tourists. I highly recommend checking out its location and waiting for a table - it's worth it!

Our recent experience at the Red Brick was fantastic once again. Despite not visiting in a while, the food was still excellent - freshly prepared and delicious. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to assist us. The tables were promptly cleaned after diners left, ensuring a smooth transition for the next customers. We hope to return soon for another enjoyable visit.
