The Crofters - Highland

We had a great dinner at this restaurant. The Cullen skink, smoked squid, and kartoffel soup were delicious and came with a roll. I ordered the haggis, neeps, and tatties, which came with a dram of whisky. My friend had the lamb ribs with a glass of milk and heel cake. The menu was simple but offered good, honest Scottish fare. We also enjoyed drinks to wash it down. The service was very pleasant, despite the small size of the restaurant.

We had breakfast at this restaurant on Sunday and Monday morning while staying at the campsite next to it. We wanted to come on Saturday, but unfortunately it was closed. The breakfast we had was good. On Sunday, we had the full breakfast with the choice of haggis (good) or black pudding (large). The only downside for me was that my sausage was a little undercooked and rubbery. On Monday, I had a scone and it was tasty. The service was a bit slow (we were the only ones there), but the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was nice to sit indoors, as the weather was chilly. The restrooms were beautiful, but not wheelchair accessible, even though the restaurant is. Besides being closed on Saturdays, I'm not sure of their opening times as they weren't displayed. Overall, a visit is definitely worth it.

What a hidden gem of a place! We stumbled upon this cozy street café after being turned away from a chic looking café, possibly because we were covered in mud from cycling. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm and friendly atmosphere, as well as the hearty comfort foods served by welcoming locals. Highly recommended for anyone passing through the city.

One of the most friendly restaurants I had. the service was fantastic. that eat delicious. the ingredients locally as much as possible. although the menu is limited, everything was moderately expensive. when they drive over lairg to the north, they think here a bit and relax.

This was a lovely. Their pie was unbelievable and the desert was so nice i could have had seconds. This was most definatley the best place i have ate in a long time. Food to a high standard and staff were very good. If out this direction again this would be a must stop
