Such mixed emotions here. Atmosphere was lively and high spirited, but in order to sit in the main room with the bar, be prepared because the music was very loud, and the fire made the room almost too hot to stay in. Service was fantastic, friendly, and prompt. The MacGregor’s Mussels were divine and would 100% recommend. We had a roast chicken and haggis dish that was just ok. Would not order again. Price per person: £20–30

Great meal. Tasty pub food. Took a couple of overseas friends there. Very friendly and we stayed on to watch the music and have a wee dram or two. All in all a great night. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a wee get-together with friends at MacGregors and it was very enjoyable, staff were chatty friendly and up for a laugh. Too early for the music on that day but we chatted with an American couple on holiday so it was very enjoyable, we are planning to return again, thank you very much. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
