We were a little apprehensive as the “ sample” menu outside didn’t seem to offer a lot of choice if you didn’t eat shellfish but we needn’t have worried. We all had plenty of choice and each of us had a delicious meal. The cheese soufflé was superb and even better we didn’t have a long wait! Duck salad, scallops, cod, linguini and Orrecchieto all pronounced gorgeous! Not cheap but nowhere is nowadays and the portions were generous.

We are up in Dornoch and had meals here twice. The food, service and ambiance were all excellent. Seafood linguine is a treat as is the cheese soufflé

Excellent lunch and coffee restaurant. We visited as a group of 6 and all enjoyed a delicious lunch. Lots of great choices. My duck salad was outstanding. Friends loved their salmon risotto and crab cakes. Relaxed environment with very friendly service.

Not as good as previous visits, Crispy Fishcakes were mainly mashed potato, asked to share a dessert but it came with only one set of cutlery was just plonked on the table. Very expensive for lunch given what you get the poor service, staff arguing at the counter as another tables order had not been sent to the kitchen, we are local won’t be going there again.

The prices were greatly increased from those on the website so it was very expensive. About £50 per person. My food wasn't well cooked as I'd asked so I had to send it back.
